We work with our clients to provide a strategic plan which is achievable within the political contexts the policy goals are set. Once policy objectives have been developed we construct a communication plan to help you reach your objectives.
This involves:
Developing the Policy Goals
Identifying The Relevant Governmental and Non-Governmental Stakeholders
Constructing the Communication Road-map
Jurisdiction Engagement Events.
Our Intergovernmental Strategic Relations culminates in Jurisdiction Engagement Events lasting for a Day to as long as two weeks. These events bring our clients into direct contact with key stakeholders. For example, US based Engagement Events would involve meeting key people from Congress, State, NGO and other entities to share your policy positions and goals.
Suasion staff organise all the logistics of these events including material development, receptions and events, security and transport, message and media training, policy alignment strategies and post-event follow up.
SPOTLIGHT ON:
Political Clients
One of our Middle Eastern clients, in the middle of a significant military conflict, needed to engage the US administration and various stakeholders in person, to detail the issues they faced on the ground both from a political and military standpoint. In addition, they wanted to engage the US administration in a conversation about a new policy initiative.
Our team was able to manage Engagement Events with the US State Department, Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, Statecraft Education Institutions, Members of Congress and significant NGOs. We prepared the Briefing Documents for each entity, wrote and designed the presentations, looked after the individual scheduling arrangements, including on the ground logistics such as transport and security, accommodation and post event briefings as well as managing the optics of each Engagement Event via our Social Media desk. Additionally, we provided the training in communication skills for the delegation.
